Gary Merrell sworn in as Delaware County Commissioner

On January 2, in front of a packed room of family, friends and supporters, Gary Merrell was sworn in as the new Delaware County Commissioner. In his remarks, Commissioner Merrell thanked attendees for all of their support and promised a new era of cooperation on the Delaware County Commission.

DCRP 2013 Endorsement Process

The Delaware County Republican Party announced today that persons interested in seeking the Party’s endorsement for any office up for election in the May 7, 2013 Primary needs to submit a letter of interest and resume by 5:00 p.m. on January 11, 2013. The letter of interest needs to declare the Office for which endorsement is being sought, and must be submitted by email, along with a resume, to Robert J. Mann, Chairman, Delaware County Republican, at the following email addresses: DelawareGOPChair@gmail.com and WeAreDelawareCounty@gmail.com.

Applicants must also participate in the Screening Committee process as requested. A meeting of the Central Committee to decide on endorsement of candidates is tentatively scheduled for January 23, 2013. Further information confirming the date and location will follow.
